Ministries

The Bereavement Team seeks to provide love, comfort, and support to our ONE Church ATL family during a time of loss. Lead by the Holy Spirit and a heart filled with compassion, we strive to ease the pain, relax the mind, and assist with final arrangements. We provide spiritual grief support as well as providing meals and other needed support.

The zONE

The ONE Church Youth Ministry believes in building godly character by igniting a passion for Christ that is driven by zeal, energy, compassion, respect and trust. We create communal support system and a safe place for youth to be transparent, live honorably, and have a zone of safety to grow in Christ.

• We teach biblical principles that establish a foundation for spiritual roots to grow deep.
• We promote age-appropriate, in-depth bible instruction, to allow our kids to KNOW the scriptures as they are trained to create disciples among their peers.
• We advance the kingdom of God through service to our community, our families, and each other.
• We create a system of accountability that will ensure cyclical trust that extends across all ages.
• We love unconditionally, believe unequivocally, and grow limitlessly!

The Finance Team strives to promote the importance of tithing and being a good steward over God’s provision. We want every member of ONE Church ATL to be excited about giving back to the Lord as their heart directs them to do. It is our goal to build the Lord’s kingdom with excellence through our gifts, tithes, and offerings.

The Finance Team’s duties include collecting, recording, documenting and depositing all tithes and offerings. We also maintain all monetary records, including giving statements, for all those who give.

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my temple”. Malachi 3:10

Greeters act as ambassadors for the Church and provide a first impression for the ONE Church ATL family and our special guests. The greeting team helps to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all in attendance.

Our vision is to be a vibrant and vital part of One Church ATL, known for our warmth, genuine love for people, service and commitment to demonstrating the genuine joy that can only come from a true relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Hospitality and Events Team seeks to provide service (food, beverages or comfort) during fellowship opportunities. The goal is for everyone who joins the church in fellowship to feel accepted and God’s love through our service. An additional priority is to create an atmosphere that will have each person walk away feeling as if they are a part of our family!

“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.”

The Marketing team is charged with letting the entire world know who we are and what we stand for. Our efforts reach not only our church members but also our local and global community via social media, a high quality website and other outlets.

ONE Love

Marriage is a partnership created purposefully by God to create a legacy to glorify Him. Our goal is to establish a world respected model for marriage enrichment including a blueprint for courtship, pre-marital instruction, marriage enrichment seminars and retreats, counseling, and coaching. We believe that true “Holy Matrimony” starts with utter submission to Christ.

The purpose of the Membership Team is to welcome new members into the church family by assisting them through the intake process. In addition, the Ministry seeks to provide follow up and outreach to our special guests. As for our new members, the Ministry provides information on various ministries and programs; identifies the “ways and means” to access important church information, and promote and encourage participation in church ministries.

Goals of the Membership Team also include to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of new members demo-graphical data; ease the transition of those accepting Christ by offering prayer and support; effectively administer and coordinate information flow between the Membership Ministry staff and the Church Office Administrative Support team.

The UNIT

The UNIT exists to provide a fraternal environment to develop men spiritually and to create a place to openly discuss matters that affect men where they are. We seek to accomplish this mission through Bible study, forums, group discipleship, accountability groups, retreats, and special events.

We believe that as men study the word of God “together” and discuss issues face-to-face, we have the ability to influence each one another, build strong relationships and experience spiritual maturity that will positively impact our families, church, and community.

ONE Mission Ministry

ONE Mission is intentional in meeting and caring for the needs of those outside the walls of the church by building a bridge through the purposeful exhibition of love and service. With both a domestic and international focus, we are dedicated and enthusiastic in our partnership with the Holy Spirit to glorify God by being the salt and light that physically shows the love of Jesus to those in need.

“For this is what the LORD has commanded us: I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”

ONE Sound Praise, Worship, and Arts Ministry

One Sound encompasses the Music and Arts ministries of One Church ATL. Our mission is to use our gifts to create an atmosphere of worship conducive for the Spirit of God to move during our church gatherings. Utilizing our praise team, dance ministry, and drama ministry, we contribute an element of praise that is inviting and welcomes the congregation to participate in bringing glory to God.

“Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.”

Our purpose is to humbly submit ourselves to the Father in intercession on behalf of others as the Spirit of God leads us praying for the universal and local body of Christ, our leaders, families, communities and salvation of the lost. Our prayer focus is fulfilling the will and work of the Father.

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

The Productions Ministry is charged with producing weekly church services and events with the highest standards of excellence. We design and implement based upon a strategy focused on Christ and how best to showcase His teachings and message. We strive daily to create and innovate in our space to be socially relevant and conscious, as well as engaging and fun. We above all aspire to constantly be EFFECTIVE Ministers of the gospel and serve with gladness as we cheerfully accept challenges and feedback. We take joy in the fact that when we do everything in excellence, God’s message is amplified through His preachers, worshippers and communicators.

The Security Team serves in collaboration with the Cobb County Police Department to secure the building, parking lot, and congregation prior to and during worship service. After service, once everyone has exited the building, we ensure the building is secured and left in proper order. As we continue to be vigilant in our efforts to maintain safety and security, One Church ATL will continue to be a safe and peaceful place to worship.

Jewels Seniors Ministry

The JEWELS Seniors Ministry is a ministry that actively involves seniors in the whole body of Christ, driven by a passion to remind seniors that they never grow out of God’s purpose for their life.

The Seniors Ministry desires to cultivate relationships with the congregation and community to further the mission of the Church.

W.A.V.E. Young Adult Ministry (Age 18 – 29)

Like a wave in the ocean, our goal is to be a community ministry whose mission is to move with force, intensity and purpose attracting every young adult in its path as each person moves closer to God. The ministry uses the word of God as a foundation for the ministry that intentionally looks to use fun, fellowship, and intense study as a driver of this progressive ministry.

“I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife— and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. ONE Heart Women’s Ministry

As ONE Heart joined in the spirit of Christ, we are focused on displaying the unity of sisterhood through fellowship, service and spiritual maturity.
